Award Winning Restaurant
The Red Lion Inn is situated just off the Thames path as it passes through historic Cricklade. The pub dates back to the early 1600s and there are still many historic features playing a part in creating the perfect British pub atmosphere.

Our 5 en-suite bedrooms are newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Crisp white linen, bright white towels, comfy beds, power showers and endless amounts of steaming hot water to help relax and de-stress after a busy day.
About us
Darren, Charlotte and their son Ernie would like to welcome you to our fabulous Cotswold country pub situated in the town of Cricklade – the first town on the River Thames.
Darren, who is owner and executive Head Chef, has over 20 years of experience in the trade both in the kitchen and in His cellar. His food is locally sourced, our meat is from H James Butchers, Cricklade and our fresh fruit and vegetables are from Fourseasons Fruiterers, also from Cricklade. Our fresh fish delivered daily is from Celtic Fish and Game from St Ives and also New Wave based in Fairford. Darren is keen to keep our menus fresh, exciting and seasonal.
Charlotte manages the Front of House with her team of friendly experienced staff, they will make your Red Lion visit very warm and welcoming, delivering excellent service if its just a quick pint or a full dining experience.
